I don’t know what to say you guys. This year has been the year of EPIC crazy huge ass weddings and I have L O V E D it! Kelsey and Ben got marred at the Preserve at Chocoura in Tamworth New Hampshire in October. And because one day wasn’t enough to fit all the love and celebration they wanted, they made it a whole weekend!! This amazing celebration kicked off Friday night with a small family and very close friends only ceremony, followed by cocktails and a fireside dinner under the outdoor pavillion.
The Preserve at Chocorua is one of the most special places I’ve ever been not only in my career but in my life. This beautiful farm property tucked into the mountains of New Hampshire is dotted with cottages and guest houses that Kelsey and Ben’s guests were able to stay, allowing everyone to come together for the entire weekend to eat, drink, play, snooze in the hammock, lay in the sun, make smores by the fire, and truly spend this time together as a community. The property is also host to a beautiful original farm house where Kelsey and Ben stayed and also got ready before their first look on Friday afternoon.
As if graphic designer Kelsey didn’t put enough work into this wedding personally designing all invitation suites and all the paper goods, she also GREW a lot of her florals herself! She harvested her bounty and handed everything over to the amazing Jane from Kith and Kin who personally made all of Kelsey’s floral arrangements and pulled Kelsey’s whole vision together.
They held their intimate ceremony in the little Sap House, which Kelsey put her heart and soul into styling so incredibly beautifully. They exchanged their vows in front of their families, everyone basked in the glow of fairy lights and soft draperies, hanging candles and soft florals. Their ceremony was incredibly personal, honest, touching, intimate, cozy and wholehearted. Just like them.
As if this day wasn’t enough, we all had the fortune of doing all again the next day! So for now, here’s day one of Kelsey and Ben at the Preserve at Chocorua!
